HONG KONG, Jan. 28 (Xinhua) -- Around 7.32 million passengers will pass through Hong Kong's sea, land and air control points from Feb. 4 to Feb. 10, during the upcoming Chinese Lunar New Year holiday, said the Immigration Department of the government of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on Monday.
The Immigration Department estimated that among all passengers, about 75 percent, or around 5.47 million passengers, would pass through land boundary control points.
The number of outbound passengers would be at its highest on Feb. 6 with over 454,000 passengers departing from Hong Kong, while the number of inbound passengers using land boundary control points would reach its peak on Feb. 7, with around 506,000 passengers arriving in Hong Kong.
