CHENGDU, Sept. 19 (Xinhua) -- A joint training for special forces from China and Nepal kicked off Wednesday in the city of Chengdu, capital of southwest China's Sichuan Province.
The joint training is the second of its kind held by the two sides and the first one that has taken place within Chinese territory.
During the training, which focuses on hostage rescue in combating international terrorist organizations, the soldiers from both countries are scheduled to participate in exercises such as explosives removal and shooting.
They are also expected to learn more about tactical skills, training methods and procedures of commanding of each other by carrying out joint actions in simulated scenes.
