WASHINGTON, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- The police in southern U.S. state Georgia are probing into a theft case in which a tractor trailer was stolen with ramen noodles worth nearly 100,000 dollars it contained.
The driver parked the 53-foot (about 16.14 meters) white Stoughton trailer at a gas station in Fayetteville County on July 25. When he returned one week later, noodles and all, had vanished without a trace.
So far local police did not specify the brand of noodles, nor did they attempt to explain what anybody could possibly want with nearly one hundred grand in dry, instant noodles, according to local media reports.
